നമ്മുടെ വിരല് കണ്ണില് തട്ടിയാല് വിരലിനേയും കണ്ണിനേയും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും. കാരണം അതു നമ്മുടെയാണ്. അതുപോലെ മറ്റുള്ളവന്റെ വേദന നമ്മുടെ വേദനയായി തോന്നണം. മറ്റുള്ളവന്റെ സന്തോഷം നമ്മുടെ സന്തോഷമാകണം.
